One-year GCSE is a popular fast-track programme for international students who are 15 or 16 years old and want to prepare themselves for A-Levels study in the UK. It is an intense yet rewarding programme that allows the students to adapt quickly to the GCE curriculum.
– Make up the difference in the academic curriculum between HKDSE and the GCE A-Levels, so students will become more confident in sixth form.
– Allow the students to sit for the 5 or 6 GCSE exams (English and Maths are compulsory), which gives the students the advantage of fulfilling the prerequisite requirement of some UK undergraduate degrees (such as business) in achieving certain GCSE maths grades.
